Book Review: Paul Meets Jesus

ZonderKidz, I Can Read, series of books in conjunction with the best selling Adventure Bible has published the story Paul Meets Jesus.

In this paperback, of about 32 pages, gives us the narrative of the Apostle Paul.  From his persecution of the Church, his miraculous encounter with Jesus Himself and his travels this book gives a child a good indicative of who Paul was and his calling of taking God's Word to the nations.  Children will get to know the Apostle Paul through this short story

The illustrations are true to the Adventure Bible series.  The colors are brilliant and very captivating.  My 6 year old daughter's attention is immediately drawn to the colorful images and she even mentioned the name tag Paul was wearing on page 20.  She loved the look of Paul's grin.

Books in this series will help guide your children's spiritual development by exposing them to stories of Biblical relevance.  It is so important that our children are not caught up in fairy-tale type stories but rather are exposed to true accounts of brave men and women who left it all behind and denied themselves to follow Jesus.

In this age, when it is so common to see parents handing their children tablets and other electronic devices to distract their children, I definitely encourage parents to invest in these types of readers.  It is worth every penny and you would be sowing in your children's hearts love for God's Word!
