Audio Book Review: The Word of Promise NKJV

Presented in dramatic audio theatre The Word of Promise New Testament audio Bible is a compelling production of the Holy scriptures in the New King James version.  The Scriptures come alive in this astounding 20 hour 20 cd compilation.

I have not listened to all 20 compact discs yet, but what I have heard so far is captivating and enthralling.  I have heard both the Book of Matthew and the Book of Mark.  The message of Jesus' sermon on the Mount is beautifully captured with an engaging composition of musical loveliness.

The stirring musical soundtrack is a beautiful accompaniment to the diversity of over 120 actors.

Although I have thoroughly enjoyed what I have been able to hear so far, I cannot compliment the packaging of this product.  The 20 compact discs are housed in a sturdy plastic case, however as I opened the case about 5 of the cd's popped out.  They do not seem to fit snug in the packaging and are stacked loosely on top of the others.  I'm hoping it is a defective case which only I received (I hope).

I look forward to enjoying the rest of the cd's in my car as I drive to church which is about an hour drive each way.

Thinking ahead to holiday gifts? Well, this dramatized Audio of the Word of God would make a great gift.  As of the date of this post this audio Bible is available for purchase at Christianbook.com at an amazingly low price of $6.99.
