Book Review: Snuggle Time Devotions That End With a Hug

Snuggle Time Devotions That End With a Hug by Stephen Elkins is a great way to introduce the Word of God to little ones.

This book presents the Bible with 52 devotionals for parents to share with their child along with 52 different games/activities that corresponds with the Bible lesson.  Such as cutting out a heart with red construction paper and write Jesus in it to illustrate the fact that we need to have Jesus in our hearts.  My favorite "activity" encourages children to pray three times a day like Daniel did as well as looking out the window and thanking God for what you see.

I have other Stephen Elkins books and I have enjoyed the way he conveys the message of salvation through Jesus Christ to children.  My daughter enjoys books that build her up in Christ and his book definitely fits the bill.

Each page contains such beautiful artwork that is so delightful and attractive. The illustrations of the children's faces are depicted in such a lovable way.  The different animals look so soft and cuddly.

If you are interested in a devotional for your young children I would recommend this book.

I received a complimentary copy of the book for review purposes from Tyndale House. - See more at: Tyndale Blogger
